GREGGORY GREG DEAN KNOLL Greggory Greg Dean Knoll, 55, of Carbondale, formerly of Danville, passed away at 7:46 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Danville Care Center. Greg was born on October 25, 1951 in Danville, the son of Russell and Eleanor (Hymer) Knoll. He is survived by his son- Sean Knoll of Carbondale; mother Eleanor Hobbs of Tuscola, Illinois; one brother- Randy (Rosemary) Knoll of Orlando, Florida; one sister- Krysta Hunt of Villa Grove, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his father. Greg graduated from Hoopeston High School. He joined the United States Navy and served from 1970-1974. He worked at the VA in Danville for 17 years. Greg loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed hiking, camping, playing the drums, and taking vacations to the beach and ocean. Per Greg and his familys wishes he will be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time. Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center is in charge of arrangements.
