Grace Imogene Williams

Danville, Ill. - Grace Imogene Williams, 85, of Danville, passed away at 9:35 p.m. CDT Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville, Illinois. She was born November 17, 1927 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Marchel Edward and Hattie Mae Phebus Kilbury. She married William Ward Williams on December 16, 1945 in Danville, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Carol(Alva)Gouty of Tilton, Illinois and Tammy J. Naylor of Cayuga, Indiana; one son, William W.(Janet)Williams, Jr. of Westville, Illinois; 6 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by 9 sisters and 5 brothers. Grace worked at General Electric in Danville for 34 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Grape Creek Baptist Church. Grace enjoyed working on crafts and spending time with her family. Funeral services: 1 P.M. EDT Monday, April 8, 2013 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor David Leary; Burial: Danville National Cemetery, Danville, Illinois; Visitation: 11 A.M.
