Grace M. (Jackson) Allison, 83, of Danville, IL passed away peacefully on November 28 in Bloomington, MN. Grace was born on October 7, 1932 in London, the daughter of Albert and Nancy (Stratful) Jackson. She was a child during the London Blitz so she was sent to the countryside for safety. There she developed a love of the country and farm animals. Grace married Willard Lee Allison on July 18, 1953 in London. They traveled the world while raising their daughters until his retirement from the Air Force in 1966. They purchased their first home, an 80 acre farm, later that year. Grace continued to live there until her recent illness. Grace worked at L. Meis/Elder Beerman until her retirement in 1993. Survived by her brother Ron (Betty) Jackson in England. Also four daughters; Susan (Steve) Weigner, Jennifer Linderman, Beth (Doug) Lahren, Alicia (Mike) Nash, eight grandchildren; Roger (Carrie) Trolinger, John (Michelle) Trolinger, Brandi (Aman) Bajwa, Ryan (Ali) Linderman, Naomi (Andrew) Habedank, Micah (Sarah) Lahren, Amy (Brad) Rauch, and Edward Nasiopoulos, five great-grandchildren; Mia, Blake, Alex, Ally and Brock. Grace is preceded in death by her parents. Grace was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, a loyal servant of our God, Jehovah, and taught everyone about Him that she met until her death. We look forward to her resurrection. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Danville, Saturday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
