Gordon Junior See

Gordon "Junior" See, 87, of State Line Road in Bismarck, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation in Williamsport, Indiana. He was born August 29, 1929, in Fairmount, the son of Gordon "Charles" & Dorothy Jenkins See. On January 13, 1947 he married Joanne Moody in Danville. The two of them enjoyed over 63 years of marriage before she died on August 9, 2010. Surviving Gordon are his two sisters, Rita Huffer and Sina (Dale Gray) Colwell; his son, Robert (Martha) See of Danville; his daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Juras of State Line Road in Bismarck; one very special granddaughter, Melissa (Mike) Van Camp; 6 additional grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, four brothers & three sisters. Gordon was employed at Esco Corporation for 43 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing & traveling. A celebration of the life of Gordon "Junior" See will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 North Vermilion Street in Danville. Rev. James Blue will officiate services, with burial following at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, September 30 at the funeral home.
