Goldie Malone

Danville - Goldie May Malone, 87, of Danville passed away at 11:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on November 21, 1927 in Brazil, IN to Raymond and Mary (Williams) Rogers. She married Charles M. Malone in Terre Haute, IN. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2002. She is survived by three sons, Tony (Margaret) Malone of Marshall, Brian Malone of Danville, and Bradley (Stacey) Malone of Goodells, MI. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Malone, eleven brothers, and two sisters. Goldie had worked as an Activity Director at Shady Manor Nursing Home in Paris until her retirement. She loved crafts and taught herself to paint. She became quite the artist and had even received an invitation to appear on the Bob Ross show years ago. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Goldie Malone will be held at 3:30 PM CST on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Bono Cemetery near Dana, IN. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM prior to the service at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville, IL.
