Gloria D. Warner, 86, of Covington, IN, passed this Life on March 11, 2010 at 5:40am ET, at the Waters in Covington IN. She was born on July 7, 1923, in New York, NY, the daughter of John and Anna (Hanniff) Deacon. Gloria is survived by her six children, Michael (Catherine) Warner of Portland, OR, Peter Warner of Covington, IN, Richard (Lisa) Warner of Veedersburg, IN, David (Susan) Warner of Danville, IL, Suzanne Warner (Augusto LaBanda) of Ecuador South America, and Rosemary Warner (Hirohisa Sano) of Chicago, IL. Her seven grandchildren and her five great grandchildren also survive her. Gloria graduated from Sarasota Florida High School and later married Cpl Richard T. Warner in LaJolla, Cal, while stationed in San Diego. He preceded her in death along with her parents and three brothers, Robert, Raymond, and John Deacon. She was a homemaker and long time member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Covington, and past president of the St. Josephs Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed teaching 1st grade religious classes for 13 years as well as reading, gardening, knitting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Glorias Life will be at 2:00pm ET on Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Covington, IN with Father David Rasnor officiating. Final resting place will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery following the mass. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-7pm, ET Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Sunsets Covington Chapel located at 420 3rd street in Covington, IN.
