Gloria Jean Lawyer

Danville Gloria Jean Lawyer, 71, of Danville passed away on December 17, 2020 at 8:49 AM at the Waters in Covington, IN.

Gloria was born on April 15, 1949 in Big Stone Gap, VA. She married Thomas Lawyer in 1966 in Danville, IL.

Gloria was loved by many, include her husband, Thomas Lawyer of Danville, IL three sons, Jeff (Lana) Lawyer of Paris, IL, Tony (Shelly) Lawyer of London, OH, and Tim (Shurley Freeman) Lawyer of Bismarck, IL, one daughter, Tori (Gary) Harris of Danville, IL, one brother, Bud Reach of Warren, MI as well as seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Kayla, Sherrie, Jake, Kody Holden and Tyler and one great grandchild, Jackson.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sheri Lawyer, one brother, Gary Reach, and one sister.

Gloria was retired from Hardees Restaurant where she was a Manager for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Public Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following visitation and inurnment will be in the Living Waters Wall at Sunset Memorial Park.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation wear a mask and practice social distancing.
