Gloria Ann Mcmasters

Tucson, Arizona - Gloria Ann McMasters, 87, of Tucson passed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 7, 1930 to the late Abel and Della (Cook) Asbury.

On August 8, 1953 she married Robert D. McMasters of Newport, Indiana.

Gloria is survived by her children, Kathy A. McMasters; Robert D. (Kris) McMasters; Michael L. McMasters and Tamara S. Turnbull; three grandchildren, Eric M. (Amber) Turnbull; Orie R. Turnbull and Alisa McMasters; one great grandson, Wylee D. Turnbull, and her constant companion of 13 years, her dog Angel.

Gloria was raised in the areas of Horseshoe, Quaker and Newport, Indiana.

She was a 1948 graduate of Newport High School and a 1950 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Danville, Illinois. Gloria was a retired RN working at several V.A.'s including Danville, Illinois, Ft. Lyon in Las Animas, Colorado and Wadsworth in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Graveside services and burial of cremains will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. EDT at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Parke/Vermillion Humane Society, 1884 South State Road 63, Hillsdale, Indiana 47854.
