Glenna J. Verhoeven, 62, of Danville, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 at Provena U.S.M.C. - Logan Campus in Danville. She was born May 8, 1942 in Danville, the daughter of Glenn E. and Norma L. (Becker) Webb. She married Charles E. Vorhoeven on November 8, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville. Glenna is survived by: her husband of over 45 years, Charles E. Verhoeven of Danville; 2 Sons- James (Veronica) Verhoeven of Danville and Robert Verhoeven of Lexington, KY; 1 Daughter- Linda (Dennis) Huston of Covington, IN; her mother- Norma Webb of Danville; 11 Grandchildren- Heather, Megan, Jennifer, Lindsey, Denise, Cortni, Matthew, Brandon, Michael, Kaycie and Emileigh; 2 Brothers- Lloyd (Judy) Webb of Danville and Timothy (Robin) Webb of Oakwood; 1 Sister- Nora (Terry) Ross of Danville and 1 Sister-in-law- Marilyn Webb of Danville. Her father and 1 Brother- Dale Webb preceded her in death. She was a 1960 graduate of Danville High School, and was very proud to later graduate from DACC in 1985 with an Associate Degree in Accounting. Along with her son Jim, she was the co-owner of Video Specialist since 1987. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a member of the Eunice Society. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially with her grandchildren whom she considered to be her "favorite hobby". She also enjoyed word-search books, reading and talking on the phone. She loved animals, and greatly enjoyed walking her dogs.
