Glenda {Murray} Mosay, 70, of Westville, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, peacefully at home after a lengthy illness with cancer. Glenda was born in Ridge Farm, IL, on August 8, 1942, the daughter of Paul & Ellen {Chiever} Murray. She was wed to Jimmy Mosay until his passing on November 24, 2009. She attended schools in Ridge Farm. She retired after many years as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Ridge Farm United Methodist Church. Glenda enjoyed wildlife, especially birds and bird watching, and her dog, Oonie. She also enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. She is survived by: her three children, Franki (Thomas) Crist of Monticello, IL, Tina (Steven) Thompson of Cayuga, IN, & Stephen (Victoria) Lischalk of Lansing, MI; her seven grandchildren, Erica, Jacob, Dalton, Wyatt, Cole, Spencer Nicole, & Serena; a very special friend, Gloria; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jimmy Mosay; her parents; her brothers, Kenneth Murray Jr., Albert Murray, & Denny Murray; and her sister, Mary Ellen Lewis. Glenda's presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of Glenda's life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Steve Rutter officiating.
