Kingman, Ind. - Glenda Lou (Conrad) Haines, 70, of rural Kingman passed away at 9:12 p.m. EDT Friday, May 31, 2019 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East in Lafayette, Indiana.

She was born November 25, 1948 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Glen T. and Martha E. (Bush) Conrad.

Glenda married Bill Haines on October 31, 1993 in Florida. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2012.

Survivors include her daughter: Tamiko (Drew) McGurk of Kingman, Indiana; son: Troy (Stephanie) Watt of Oxford, Indiana; five grandchildren: Kaden Watt; Olivia McGurk; Kolton Watt; Glennys McGurk and Keely Watt; sister: Patty Marshall of Perrysville, Indiana; brother: Dale (Mary) Conrad of Fishers, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

Glenda was a retired school bus driver for the Covington School Corporation. She was a member of the Gessie United Methodist Church, Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263, Covington V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 2395, Covington Tri Kappa and the Red Hat Society. She also worked at Inland Container, Covington School Corporation as a grounds keeper, and owned and operated Glenda's Lawn Care. She was a 1966 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Glenda was most proud of her grandchildren and their activities and accomplishments.

Funeral services: 3 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 6, 2019 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Ken Green; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 1 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 6, 2019 until time of services at the funeral home. The family request contributions to the Gessie United Methodist Church.
