Glen Edward Cook, 42, of Georgetown, passed away at 4:29pm, Saturday, July 26th, 2008, in London, Ontario Canada. Glen was born on December 4th, 1965, in Danville, IL, the son of Vernon and Ernesta Cook. He married Amy Black on February 13th, 1993, in Westville. She survives of Georgetown. Also surviving are: his children, Jessica Marie of Westville and Jacob Thomas at home; his parents, Vernon & Ernesta Cook of Westville; his brother, Brian Cook of California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl. Glen was a 1984 graduate of Schlarman High School. He was the owner-operator of AJ Cook Trucking. Glen enjoyed farming, fishing, traveling to Alaska with his children, his Sunday morning drives with his wife, having lunch at his Moms, and working side-by-side with his farm hand, Verno. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 1st, 2008, at St. Marys Church, 231 N State St, Westville. Father ORiley will officiate. Visitation will be held 4pm to 8pm, Thursday, July 31st, 2008, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, with a Rosary at 3:30pm. He will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in Glens name to an Education Fund for his son, Jacob Cook, through First National Bank of Georgetown.
