Glen Brown

Glen Brown, 89, of Danville passed away on September 17, 2014 at Gardenview Manor Nursing Home in Danville, Illinois. Glen was born the son of Oscar and Myrtle (Adams) Brown, on November 27, 1924. He married Mary Allen on March 1, 1949 and was preceded in death by his loving wife on April 28, 2011 Glen is survived by his son Tim Brown of Danville; two granddaughters; and four great grandsons. Glen is preceded in death by his wife Mary, brother Marion R. Brown, and sister Geraldine Arnold. Glen graduated high school in 1942 from Westville High School. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served the United States while fighting in World War II. After serving our country, Glen worked at Olin Corporation for eighteen years then he became and owner and operator of a local Shell Service station for twenty years.
