Gladys Earl

Gladys L. Earl, 94, of Danville, IL passed away January 12, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born October 16, 1912 in Covington, IN daughter of Walter and Mary Leona Moffett Fulton. She married Ephraim Robertson on June 2, 1932 in Danville. He preceded her in April 1935. She later married Dexter Earl in 1939. He preceded her in 1957. Survivors include Daughter: Barbara (Don) Claypool of Oakwood; Grandchildren: Bill (Jan) Hill of Oakwood and Brian (Debra) Claypool of Cary, IL. Great Grandchildren: Kyle Hill, Makenna, Josh, and Brianna Claypool. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, three sisters, and a brother. Gladys was a dedicated homemaker that loved children. She was like a mother to Faye Jordan and Judy Stevens. A Celebration of Gladyss life will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center; 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville, with Pastor Rod Godley officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Sunday evening at the funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
