Gladys E. Pataki

Gladys E. Pataki, 90, of Georgetown passed away at 11:53 p.m. Thursday December 27, 2007 at Provena Covenant in Urbana, IL. She was born on March 27, 1917 in Spenser, IA the daughter of Wilbur and Blanche Wheeler Sykes. She married Elmer Pataki with whom she had two sons. He preceded her in death. Survivors include, one son, Don (Jean) Pataki of Covington, IN, four grandchildren, Donald W. Pataki of Champaign, Lori A. Culver of Georgetown, Brian B. (Barb) Pataki of Washington, and Dan A. Pataki of Cedar Rapids, Neb., three great grandsons, two step great granddaughters, and two great-great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Julius Pataki, three sisters, and one brother. Gladys retired from GE where she worked as a winder. Gladys most of all enjoyed taking care of her family. A celebration of Gladyss life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 31, 2007 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Georgetown. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9-11 a.m. Monday before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donors Choice.
