Gladys Arlene Musson

Gladys Arlene Musson earned her wings on July 19th, 2021, at 1:49am. Gladys was born on September 12, 1947 to Aretus and Eileene (Weccele) Musson who precede her in death along with the love of her life William "Bill" Brasel; her brothers, Harry (Rosemary) Musson, Robert (Violet) Musson, Albert (Bev) Musson, and Chuck Musson; her sisters, Hazel Loveless, Willene Musson, Mary (Ben) Moore, Sarah (William) Billings, and Eileene Anders; brothers-in-law, Robert Lacey and William Williamson; great-great Nephew Wyatt Pope and his father Tyler Pope who she loved very much.

She is survived by her brother, William (Sharon) Musson; sisters, Pat Lacey, and Evelyn Williamson; brother-in-law, Kenny Anders; many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own; and very special friends, James "Jimmy" and Dawn Ohl and family along with Sherry Sumner and all her friends at the Valley View Apartments.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to hospice nurse Marsha for her compassion and kindness.

Gladys was a truly selfless person who never met a stranger and enjoyed helping everyone. She was well loved by her friends at Valley View and will be deeply missed by her family.

A celebration of Gladys life will take place at 10am on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with pastor Derrick Lipscomb officiating.
