Gino Ghibaudy

Springfield " Gino E. Ghibaudy, 51, of Springfield, IL, formerly of Westville, passed away peacefully at his home in Springfield on October 15, 2010. Gino is survived by: his children, Joseph H. Ghibaudy of SIU Law School, Carbondale, IL and Andrea C. Ghibaudy of DePaul University, Chicago IL; his father, Honore Ghibaudy of Westville; his brothers, Randall his sister-in-law, Ann; his four nieces; and his one great niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Kotcher Ghibaudy. He was a commodities and stock broker. Gino enjoyed traveling with his children and living life to its fullest. He was a 1977 graduate of Schlarman High School; received an Associate degree from Springfield College and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Springfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm, October 25, 2010, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville. He will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Westville. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Schlarman High School Foundation in memorial. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, a Life Celebration Home, is in charge of the arrangements.
