Danville - Ginger Lee Lamb, 67, of Danville, passed away April 26, 2014. She was born October 4, 1946 in La Porte, IN the Daughter of Paul and Virginia Burge Bennett. She is survived by her daughters Tina Arlington and Lisa (Jeff) Wakeland; her grandchildren Shylee, Destiny, Alexander, and Adam; and three very special people; her boyfriend, Forrest Foote, her best friend “mom” Imogene Colleen, and her best friend “sister” Sue Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fred Bennett; and her son, Cory Alexander. Ginger worked as a waitress for many years until she got sick, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting and solving puzzles, she loved to play bingo every Saturday. Ginger was a mushroom hunter, and she loved to go fishing. Above all else, Ginger loved her family and she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A grave side service celebrating Gingers life will be held at Sunset Memorial Park at 1:45pm on Friday May 2, 2014. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service on Friday May 2, 2014 from 1pm to 1:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A life celebration home in Danville. A carry-in-dinner will be held at party on rentals banquet hall in Belgium, IL from 3pm-6pm.
