Gina J. Tanner

Gina J. Tanner, 48, of Danville, passed away at 7:00pm, Thursday, January 31, 2019, at her home. She was born on February 17, 1970 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Ronald and Loretta {Emory} Sbertoli. She was first married to Andrew Rich. She later wed Jeff Wellinghoff.

Gina enjoyed working in the kitchen at St. Pauls Church and adored working with Catholic Charities to help keep families together. She also loved babysitting. Gina loved drawing and painting, as well as doing arts and crafts.

Those who will miss her include: her mother, Loretta Sbertoli; her son, Dalton Rich; her sister, Deneen Schendel; her nieces, Tayler Schendel & Madyson Schendel; and her special Aunt & Uncle, Karen & Danny Drollinger. She will be especially missed by her dog, Lola. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville, IL 61832, with Father Bo Schmitt officiating. Visitation will be 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home.
