Gerald J.'Candy Man' Casey

Gerald J. "Candy Man" Casey, 79, of Bismarck passed away at 6:00pm Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the V. A. Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born April 28, 1925 in Toledo, OH the son of William and Victoria Nadroskie Casey. He married Marjorie Bernardi on July 3, 1958 in Danville; she preceded him on April 5, 2001. Surviving are four sons; Frank (Tammie) Casey of Bismarck, Pat (Beth) Casey of Brazil, IN, Tony (Beth) Casey of St. Anne, ID, and David Casey of Carmel, IN; one daughter, Myra (Rich) Rennick of Covington; a step-daughter, Sherry (Ron) Erwin of Oakwood; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gerald was preceded by his parents and one daughter Jerilee. Gerald had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. He later became a salesman with Warner Candy Company for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Pauls Catholic Church and a former member of the K of C. Gerald was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Cubs and the Bears.
