Georgia Middlemas Parmley

Georgia Middlemas Parmley, 76, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 2:35am, Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at her home. She was born on October 25, 1939, to Esther Humble McDaniels. She was united in marriage to Larry Middlemas on January 16, 1960. She later wed Kenneth Parmley on February 9, 2008. Georgia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in health care. She loved helping people and enjoyed volunteering with CRIS Senior Services delivering meals to the elderly. She enjoyed going shopping. Georgia's life was dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed and remembered dearly by those who loved her. She leaves behind: her children, Mike (Sue) Middlemas of Pinckneyville, IL, Jeff Middlemas of Boise, ID, James (Tiffany) Middlemas of Mapleton, IL, and Janet (Rich) Jones of Westville; her grandchildren, Russell (Misty Waters) Weathers, Jessica Middlemas, Caleb (Beth Montgomery) Middlemas, Kelsey Middlemas, Evan Middlemas, Ben Middlemas, & Emily Middlemas; her great grandchildren, Emma Weathers, Kaydence Middlemas, Brayton Ross, Ava Wright, and twin girls expected in October; her brother, Edward (Mary) McDaniels of Albany, NY; her brothers-in-law, James Parmley, John Stanfield, & Lawrence (Mary) Parmley; her best friend, Janice Billingsley; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother, four sisters, & two brothers. A celebration of Georgia's life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 22, 2016, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola, IL. As per her wishes, Georgia was cremated. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home assisted her family with arrangements.
