Georgia M. Cole

Georgia M. Cole, 94, of Danville, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2004 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born December 19, 1909 in Veedersburg, Indiana, the daughter of Claude and Corinth (Yount) Cranmore. She married Herman Lester Cole in June 1930 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by: 3 Children- Georgia Cravens-Hinchman of Oakwood, Larry (Karen) Cole of Westville, Ronald (Mary) Cole of Greenville, SC; 1 Son-in-law- Robert Henthorn of Westville; several Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 Daughter- Sonnia Henthorn in 1995, 1 Granddaughter- Dena Cole and 1 Brother- Gordan Cranmore. Georgia was a very active member of First Church of the Nazarene in Danville, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a very devout Christian who enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church and spending time with her friends.
