George William Henry Winslow Jr.

George William Henry Winslow Jr., 72, of Danville, passed away at 10:25pm on Tuesday September 18, 2018. William was born in Danville on July 31, 1946, the son of William H. Sr. and Mary Winslow. On January 17, 1986 William married the love of his life Rosemary Graven and they spent the next 14 years together before her passing in 2001. Surviving William are his children Richard Winslow of Danville, Laura Redenbaugh of Danville, Sara Jones of Danville; brothers, Randy Winslow of Ohio, Kevin (Candice) Winslow of Urbana, Jerry (Barb) Winslow of LeRoy, Dennis (Meda) Winslow of Mahomet; sister, Arlene Juneao of Texas, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. William is preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, Terry Winslow, Lester Winslow; sisters, Wanda Jones and Linda Winslow. William was a master of all trades. He enjoyed building model cars and trains, paint by numbers and playing cards with his friends. The most important thing in Williams life was his family and he truly loved spending time chatting with his brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Monday September 24, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
