George L. Kaugher

George L. Kaugher, 75, of Danville passed away at 4:45 am on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. He was born October 11, 1929 in Scranton, Pennsylvania the son of William H. and Grace E. (Shiffer) Kaugher. He married Elsie Dixon on August 15, 1950 in Factoryville, Pennsylvania. George is survived by- his wife of over 54 years- Elsie Kaugher of Danville; 1 Daughter- Penny (Jeff) Rambole of Danville; 2 Grandchildren- Janelle (Aaron) Biggs and Jeffrey Rambole- both of Danville; and 1 Great-Grandson- Ethan Biggs. His parents preceded him in death. He was a 1948 graduate of Technical High School in Scranton, PA. He worked 26 years with Eureka of Danville in the Printing Department. He later retired from Black & Company after 18 years of service. George was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
