George A. Crawley

Danville – George Allen Crawley, Jr., 62, of Danville passed away at 11:51 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born October 24, 1962 in Danville to George and Carol (Potter) Crawley.

He is survived by two sons, Scott (Kendra) Crawley of Bismarck and Keith (April) Crawley of Rossville; his mother, Carol Webb; eight grandchildren, Everett, Kensley, Vivian, Shane, Carolynn, Carter, Alex, and Hannah; a sister, Barb (Roger) Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Crawley, Sr., his grandparents, and his stepdad, George Webb.

George was the owner and operator of his business, Crawley Painting. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether it was out on a boat, shooting guns, or fishing. He also took special care of his Corvette and was a member of the Corvette Club.

Per George’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834.
