Geneva P. Cole

RIDGE FARM - Geneva P. Cole, 64, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 3:36 p.m. Monday January 23, 2006 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Rufus and Lillian Crain Kennedy. She married Jack Cole on March 1, 1972 in Danville, IL. He survives. Also surviving: one son, Courtney (Donita) Cole of St. Michael, MN; three daughters, Michaela (David) Borum of Cape Girardeau, MO, Angela Cole of Georgetown, and J.J. Nelson of Olivet; one brother, Milton Kennedy of Mediapolis, IA; one sister, Sharon (Daryl) Morse of Evans, GA; and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. Geneva was a member of the American Legion Dornblazer Post 203 Womens Auxiliary. She baked and decorated cakes and cookies for many people. A celebration of Genevas life will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home. Officiating: Pastor James Blue Burial: Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the funeral home.
