Gary Miller

Gary Wayne Miller, 67, passed away on July 16, 2014 at his residence in Brazil, IN. He was born on November 18, 1946 in Crawfordsville, IN, the son of Alvie O. and Mildred L. (Willhite) Miller. He married Doris J. Benzing on May 4, 1979 and was with her 34 years until her passing on December 25, 2013. Gary was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth L. Miller. He will be deeply missed by one son, Gary Miller Jr. of Marion, IL, one step-daughter, Debby Feliciano of New Castle, DE, grandchildren, Robert Miller, Jacob Miller and Will Barron, three brothers, Tom (Carmen) Miller of Brazil, IN, Walter Miller of Sonora, KY, and Gene (Patty) Miller of Hume, IL, three sisters, Betty (Lonnie) Duprey of Indianola, IL, Pat (Bill) Priest of Tilton, IL, and Irene (Chuck) Mercer of Oakwood, IL. Gary lived in Decatur until moving to Brazil, IN, so his brother Tom could care for him. He worked many years at Aspen Ridge Care Center of Decatur. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Decatur. A celebration of Garys life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM EST at Sunsets Covington Chapel, 420 3rd street, Covington, IN, 47932 with Pastor Jim Blue officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM EST Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, IN.
