Micco, Florida - Gary Martin Mott, 79, of Micco and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana passed away at 9:33 a.m. EDT Sunday, September 27, 2020 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.

He was born August 16, 1941 in Clinton, Indiana the son of the late Forrest Mott and Marsonne Bartlett (Martin).

Gary married Martha Hundley on July 18, 1980 in Newport, Indiana. She survives along with Baby Girl.

Other survivors include his children: Dawn (Johnathan) Hughes of Surprize, Arizona; DiLowell (Susan) Mott of Cocoa, Florida; Daman (Deanna) Mott of Vacaville, California; Charles (Debbie) Hundley of Palm Bay, Florida and Robert (Marilyn) Hundley of Glen Allen, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his father: Forrest Mott, mother: Marsonne Bartlett and brother: Ronn Mott.

Gary was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force. His memberships included the Cayuga Presbyterian Church, Newport American Legion Post 184, Perrysville Unity Lodge #344 F&AM, Disabled American Veterans Association, Air Force Sergeants Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6653. Gary enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals. He was an avid musician that loved playing guitars and taking trips to Wallace, Indiana to play music and eat.

Graveside service with Military Honors and Masonic Rites: Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2 p.m. EDT at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. Officiating: Ashton Stewart. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
