Gary "Dean" Rosenbeck

Gary "Dean" Rosenbeck II passed suddenly on January 9, 2026, in Rantoul. Born on May 14, 1985, in Urbana, Dean touched the lives of many with his warmth and genuine nature and unforgettable smile.

Dean was a passionate Green Bay Packers fan; his love for the game was just one of the many ways he shared his vibrant personality with those around him. Dean was a licensed HVAC technician, a job that he truly enjoyed. He was a kind soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Gary Rosenbeck, mother, Pamela Welsh, stepmother, Deanne, three brothers, one sister and his son, Ethan Williams.

Dean is preceded in death by his grandparents, stepfather Don Welsh, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Cremation arrangements have been made at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center's Lux Chapel 1551 E. Grove Ave. Rantoul. IL. 61866. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 11am-2pm in the gathering center at First United Methodist Church in Rantoul, IL. 200 S. Century Blvd. 61866.
