Garrett P. Reynolds

Garrett P. Reynolds, 27, passed away at his home in Perrysville on January 5, 2025. He was born the oldest of 3 boys to Brian and Tammi (Dunham) Reynolds. He attended Covington Community High School and graduated with the class of 2015. He spent the past few years as the outside manager of Cayuga Grain.

Garrett was a true outdoorsman. He was at his happiest outdoors, whether it was fishing or hunting with his loyal companion Rukka. He will be remembered as a loyal and fiercely protective friend that kept a close circle of loved ones, always offering unwavering support and love. He had the unique ability to connect with animals and his dogs Rukka and Ash will miss meeting his truck in the driveway every day. Though he had a tough exterior, those who were close to him knew he had a huge heart and never hesitated to drop everything to help someone in need. His famous bear hugs that completely engulfed those receiving them will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his family whom he loved more than anything- parents Brian & Tammi Reynolds, brothers Wyatt & Emmett Reynolds, all of Covington; his grandparents Larry & Linda Reynolds and Dave & Charlene Dunham; and aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Family and close friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm at Sunset Funeral Home’s DeVerter Chapel, located at 215 N. Division Street in Cayuga. The family kindly asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help support Tylan Leonard’s healing journey on her GoFundMe page.
