G. Maxine Domgall

G. Maxine Domgall, age 85, of Danville, passed away at 1:26 am EST on Friday, December 11, 2009 at her daughters home in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born April 9, 1924 in Danville the daughter of Oscar and Hulda Christina (Fern) Larson. She married Wilbur I. Domgall in 1965 in Danville. He preceded her in death in 2001. Maxine is survived by one daughter: Donna (Paul) Jones of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister: Lorraine Garowski of Westville; three grandchildren: Scott (Linda) Jones of Burlington, Iowa, Chris (Alice) Jones of Mahomet, IL, Jennifer (Tracy) Pierce of Hampshire, IL; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother: Harold Larson; and four sisters: Elnetta Larson, Edna Black, Hulda Larson, and Esther Carraher. Maxine worked for Illinois Bell for thirty years until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Maxine Domgall will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home of Danville with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 pm on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the funeral home.
