GEORGETOWN- Freeman L. Pollard, 71, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:23pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Provena USMC in Danville. Mr. Pollard was born on October 28, 1934, in Annapolis, IN, the son of Ernest and Lula (Crowder) Pollard. Both parents precede him in death. On April 22, 1967, Freeman married Nadine Kiser in Indiana. She resides in Georgetown and will miss him dearly. Freeman will also be missed by: his two sons, Larry (Lisa) Pollard of Fl, and Rick Pollard of Ridge Farm; his two daughters, Delores (Bobby) Ferrandez of FL, and Robin Delarosa of Georgetown; his two sisters, Alita (Larry) Schlunaker of Danville, and Wilma (Larry) Wise of Olivet; his six granddaughters, Kayla, Melissa, Christina, Alexis, Chianne, and Sydney; his three grandsons, P.J., Hunter, and Jonathan; and his great-granddaughter, Tierra. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Paul and Morris, and his daughter-in-law, Diana Pollard. Freeman was employed at the Hyster Company in Danville as a welder, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Indiana as well as a member of the Kickapoo Wood Carvers Club. He enjoyed woodworking and clock making. His favorite pastime was fishing with his grandson, Jonathan, and being with his family. A celebration of the life of Mr. Freeman Pollard is scheduled for 10:30am CST, on Friday December 9, 2005 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home at 200 E. West St. in Georgetown. The service will be officiated by Pastor Lewis and Pastor Farley. Final resting place will be at Thomas Cemetery located in Newport, IN. Visitation is schedule between 9:00am-10:30am on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the funeral home
