Fred Depew

Fred Depew, 60, of Danville passed away at 12:15pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Presence USMC, Danville. He was born April 6, 1956 in Urbana, the son of Joseph and Ida Buttitta Depew. He was united in marriage to Theresa Williamson on January 18, 2008. She survives. He will be fondly remembered by his mother, Ida Depew; his sons, David, Eric and Matt Depew; daughter, Stephanie Painter; three brothers, Jerald, Heath, Drake and Bennet Depew; two sisters, Tori Depew and Kate Roark; 11 granchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph. Fred was an avid sports fan. He played in a softball and bowling league for more than 20 years. He loved to spend his time at the track watching the horses run. Fred was an avid music fan who's tastes influenced countless individuals. A celebration of Fred's life will be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign.
