RIDGE FARM " Franklin Delano Haase, 72, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 9:08 am on Monday, July 18th, 2005, while at home. He was born on March 31st, 1933, in Dana, IN, the son of Raymond and Minnie Ola (Kelso) Haase. He married Marilyn Lee Newcomb on January 27th, 1952, in North Liberty, IN. His wife of 53 years still resides in Ridge Farm. Other survivors include: his three sons, James (Jami), Dave (Maggie), and Richard Haase, all of Ridge Farm; one daughter, Mary Beth (Lee) Heafner of Indianola; two brothers, Donald (Minnie) Haase of Clinton, IN, and William (La Donna) Haase of Clarksville, IN; one sister, Maxine (Joe) Scott of Troy, IL; eight grandchildren, Eric Haase of Ridge Farm, Ryan Haase of Haviland, KS, Brandy (Ed) Peeveler of Ridge Farm, Madolyn Haase of Ridge Farm, Elisha (Charlie) Lyons of Georgetown, Stacey (Justin) Vice of Catlin, Dustan and Sarah Haase, both of Ridge Farm; four great grandchildren, Gavin and Zane Ray, both of Catlin, Alex Lyons of Georgetown, and soon-to-be Baby Peeveler; four step-grandchildren, Nina (Ryan) Spalding, Anthony Noghrechi, Lee (Tabatha) Heafner, and Stacey Heafner; five step great grandchildren, Agelica, Katelynn, Emalee, and Alexia Heafner, and Mia Spalding. His parents, one brother, and two sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Haase was a member of the Vermilion Grove Friends Church. He enjoyed hunting, deep-sea fishing, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also enjoyed traveling, square dancing, and was a member of the Kaddidle Hoppers Square Dance Club of Georgetown. Most of all, he enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.
