Franklin Cunningham

Franklin Cunningham of Silver Springs, FL. formerly of Covington, IN., died October 14, 2008. He was born May 25, 1922 in Metcalf, Ill. Franklin was a veteran of the US Navy, serving five years during WWII and 2 years in the Army National Guard of Ill. He retired in 1983 after 42 years of employment with Conrail (P&E) Railroad. His pastimes included gardening, woodworking, and model railroading. Surviving him are sons Clifford (Kathy) Cunningham, of Danville, IL. Ronald (Debbie) Cunningham, of Covington,Ind., and Keith (Teri) Cunningham, of Fithian,IL.; daughter Janice Case of Orange Park, Fl.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. Preceding him in death were his wife Delores, daughter Carolyn and a great great grandchild.
