Frank Nicholas Palmer age 83 of Danville passed away at 11:20 PM Friday September 24,2004 at his home. He was born November 13, 1920 in Cumberland WI the son of Sam and Mary Zaccardi Palmer. He had married Geraldine Gareis on September 12, 1942 in Minneapolis MN she preceded him September 12, 2004. Surviving: one daughter Lora Lee (John Camp) Palmer of Armstrong, one son Frank (Mary) Palmer of Hamilton IN, four grandchildren: Michelle (Rob) Thomas of Butler IN, Tony (Wendy Natt) Frankino of Leiden Netherlands, Alinda (Brent) Higgins of Collison and Elissa Frankino of Savannah Ga, three great-grandchildren Nicholas, Samuel and Adilynn Thomas all of Butler In. His parent's one brother and one sister preceded him. Frank was a former Mechanical engineer manager for Bohn-Aluminum in Danville; he had also served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Frank was a member of ST. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville and a member of the Elks Club #332. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, woodworking, fast pitch softball and lightweight Golden gloves boxing.
