Frank L. Craft

Cayuga, Ind. - Frank L. Craft, 79, of Cayuga, passed away at 3:22 p.m. EDT Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1935 in Cayuga, Indiana the son of the late Nora Murdock Richardson and Vernon Craft. He married Shirley Ann Williams on February 19, 1955 in Cayuga, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 4, 2008. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Craft of Danville, Illinois and Julie Craft of Cayuga, Indiana; two sons, Larry(Brenda)Craft and Norman(Karen)Craft both of Cayuga, Indiana; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Pribble of Georgetown, Illinois and Shirley Rudd of Westville, Illinois; two brothers, Bob(Sharon)Craft of Cayuga, Indiana and Richard(Tres)Craft of Morristown, Tennessee. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, LaVonna Sue Craft; four sisters and three brothers. Frank retired from General Motors in Tilton, Illinois where he was a forklift operator. He enjoyed mushrooming, bowling and playing poker. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. EDT at the Cayuga American Legion to honor the life of Frank L. Craft. Inurnment of cremains will be at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
