Frank E. "Dusty" Hart, 86, of Westville, passed away at 5:25am, Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 7, 1929, in Westville, the son of Frank and Pearl {Nease} Hart, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Bertha Rose Kvetinskas on July 10, 1953, in Catlin. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1992. Dusty was a loving father to his children, Gene (Marla) Hart of Amelia, OH, John Paul (Sandy) Hart of Westville, Scott Hart of Westville, Lori (Rudy) Linares of Westville, & Lisa (Wesley Cramer) Gocken of Indianola. He will also be dearly missed by: his grandchildren, Garrett Hart, Dalton Hart, Douglas Reffett, Brooke (Jonathan) Michelin, John Michael Gocken, Dusti Rose Gocken, Matthew Gocken, Josh (Sydnee Black) Mingee, Alec Hart, Rayn Hart, & Hunter Hart; his great grandchildren, Reese Michelin, Rylee Mingee; his sister, Sally Yerem of Westville; his sister-in-law, Margaret Honey' Lanter of Danville; his God-Granddaughter, Allison Voyles; his 2 step grandsons; his 4 step great grandchildren; his many nieces & nephews; and many extended family & friends which included his special friends, Burr & Beverly Brazas. Dusty also had 4 half-siblings-Jack, Fred, Kathy, and Millie. He was preceded in death by two brothers-Paul (Louise) and Arnold "Bunt" Hart, two sisters-Barb (Emery) Slavik and Betty (Fred) Jaggers, and a sister-in law Lillian (Louie) Groppi; and his brother-in-law, Joe Yerem. Dusty was a proud Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He worked for Penn Central & Conrail Railroad retiring in 1981. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown & Westville American Legion Post #51. In his early years, Dusty served on the Westville Fire Department. Dusty loved gardening, fishing and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed spending time taking care of his horses. He was a caring person and cherished the time spent with family and providing a home for many of them as well as friends in times of need. Dusty's family would like to take a moment to thank his caregivers who provided so much support and dedication for the last several years and to Carle Hospice for the last few weeks. A celebration of Dusty's life will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at First Church of Christ, Georgetown, with Phil Miller officiating. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville. He will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Westville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to First Church of Christ Georgetown.
