Cayuga, Ind. -- Frank A Wickens, 81, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 12:05 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at The Waters of Clinton in Clinton, Indiana. He was born March 8, 1927 in rural Cayuga, Indiana, the son of the late Ernest Ray and Fredrica Thelma Weatherman Wickens. Survivors include: two sons, Ron Wickens of Newport, Indiana and Larry(Debbie)Wickens of Dana, Indiana; five grandchildren, Erik(Marla)Wickens of Avon, Indiana; Ryan(Maggie)Wickens of Terre Haute, Indiana; Jamie(Robert)Farley of Cayuga, Indiana; Jesse(Cara)Wickens of Bloomington, Indiana and Karen Wickens of Indianapolis, Indiana; five great grandchildren, Riley Wickens, Isaac Wickens, Emilee Farley, Abigail Farley and Ian Farley; two sisters, Martha Clarey of Newport, Indiana and Marilyn(Ernest)Payton of Dana, Indiana; three brothers, Bradley(Mary)Wickens of Covington, Indiana; Morris(Celia)Wickens and Rev. David(Sharon)Wickens both of Dana, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one son, Lynne Wickens and two infant brothers, Ernest Melvin and Robert Damon Wickens. Frank retired from TeePak in Danville, Illinois. He was also a farmer. Frank attended the Newport Church of God. He was a member of the Eagle's Lodge #887 in Clinton, Indiana; Montezuma Fish and Game Club and a charter member of the Newport Lion's Club. Frank was a 1945 graduate of Newport High School. He enjoyed being a member and working on the annual Newport Lion's Club Hill Climb and playing shuffle board. Funeral services: Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. David Wickens; Burial: Hopewell Cemetery in Quaker, Indiana; Visitation: Friday, March 14, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Newport Lion's Club, P.O.
