Frances Schmittag

Frances Schmittag, 89 of Virdin, IL. passed away on Thursday October 17, 2024, in Virdin. She was born on October 14, 1935, in Urbana, IL. the daughter of Benjamin and Iva Ward.

Frances enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her friends at the Hay Center in Champaign, with The Red Hat Ladies and her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, William Morrow, John Robert (Monica) Morrow, Ronald (Pamela Sue) Morrow, Michael Morrow, many grandchildren, four great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Morrow, second husband, Paul Schmittag, four brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Friday October 25, 2024 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Champaign.
