Frances Lawhorn

Frances M. Lawhorn, age 84 of Danville, passed away at 8:25 am Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Provena Logan Campus. She was born May 8, 1919 in Danville, the daughter of Guy and Laura Brown Sparrow. Frances married James I. Lawhorn on December 14, 1936 in Danville. He preceded her in 1985. Surviving are: two sons, James (Linda) Lawhorn and Gerald (Sandra) Lawhorn both of Danville; three daughters, Sandra Divan and Sharon (Bob) Gillis both of Danville, Arlene (Larry) Bennett of Kentland, IN; one brother, Dale Sparrow of Hemphill TX; fifteen grand-children and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her parent's; one daughter, Connie Whited; two brothers and one grandson preceded her in death. Frances had worked for Bohn Aluminum in Danville for over 25 yrs. She was a volunteer for C.R.I.S Senior Service. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, camping, her dog, Cindy Sue and going to casinos. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and grandkids
