Frances Kinney

Frances V. Kinney, 92, of Willcox, Arizona, formerly of Danville, passed away at 11:55am on August 2, 2008 in Arizona. She was born on August 23, 1915, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Frank and Fannie Engelman Mills. Both deceased. On September 7, 1940, Frances married George Kinney in Danville. He preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include their two children: Glen (Jean) Kinney of Bismarck, Il, Patricia Pirtle of Leroy, IL, her five grandchildren, David (Barbara) Carswell of Palm Beach, Fl., James Carswell of Palm Springs, Cal., Brenda (Eric) Nelson of Columbus, IN., Linda (John) Moore of Leroy, IL, and Mike (Sue) Pirtle of Bloomington, Il. Her seven great-grandchildren, and her two caregivers, Tammy and Jeanine, both of Arizona. Her daughter, Barbara Carswell, son-in-law, James Carswell, and granddaughter, Beth Kinney precede Frances in death. Frances graduated from Pana High School and was a member of the Pana Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending her time traveling, meeting people, and being with her family.
