Frances "Fran" Jean Jennings, 70, of Danville, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, September 8th, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Fran was born on February 7th, 1941, in Pulaski County, Indiana, the daughter of Pete and Doris (Cloud) Foust. She was happily married to Harold "Mike" M. Jennings on February 22nd, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana. He survives. She is also survived by two sons- Robert "Mike" M. (Cathy) Jennings and Jeffrey A. Jennings both of Danville; one daughter- Sandy I. (Shad Thomas) Jennings of Tilton; four grandchildren- Shean M. (Lacey Weatherly) Jennings of Danville, Alysia Jennings of Tilton, Andrew Jennings of Bloomington and Jennifer Jennings of Urbana; one brother- Robert (Cheryl) Foust of Alabama; one sister Mary (Larry) Foust of Australia; several nieces and nephews; and her beagle-Snoopy. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother- Glen Foust. Fran attended schools in Pulaski County and graduated from Winamac High School. She worked for Priceless Food Store in Danville as a deli manager for several years, until she retired in 2010. Fran enjoyed playing crossword puzzles and playing video games. A Celebration of the life of Frances "Fran" Jean Jennings will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
