Frances Isabel Mcfarland

Frances Isabel McFarland, 91, of Williamsport, passed away at 7:23 PM on Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital in Williamsport, IN. She was born on December 5, 1921 in Danville, the daughter of James and Lillie (Meeker) Deck. She married Cloyd A. McFarland on February 12, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2000. Leaving behind to cherish her memory are one son, James (Grace) McFarland of Tucson, AZ, three daughters, Phyllis (Dale) Coulter of Bloomington, IL, Patricia (Don) Ehler of Williamsport, IN, and Catherine (Charles) Gress, Louisville, KY, nine grandchildren, Brian Coulter, Angela Sherman, Krissy Ehler, Josie Ehler, Michael Ehler, Brent McFarland, Lindsey Blakeslee, Paige McFarland, Carson Gress, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Audrey Clarey, Daisy Sult, Josie Deck and one brother Floyd Deck. Isabel worked at Arnholts Bakery as a young lady. Later, after raising her family she worked at Danville Nursing Home on Bowman Ave., the Boat Plant in Danville and Radio Materials in Attica, IN.She loved reading, gardening and working on the farm. A Celebration of Isabels Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor Herb Smith officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
