Frances 'Fran' Tarquini

Frances “Fran” Tarquini, 78, of Danville left us peacefully at home with her husband of 59 years and her two children. She was born on December 14, 1934 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Arthur and Ethie (Wallace) Kraemer. She married Victor Tarquini on December 19, 1953 at Chanute Air Force Base and mothered three children- Lewis (Janis) Tarquini, Teresa (Robert) Wiese, and Bradley (Tracy) Tarquini. Surviving her is her husband, two children, Teresa (Robert) Wiese and Bradley (Tracy) Tarquini, and six of the greatest grandchildren- Jared Tarquini, Robert Wiese, Andrea Tarquini, Chelsea Tarquini, Michelle Wiese, Tyler Tarquini and many close and loving friends. Fran worked at AT&T, Vermilion Co. Court House, and operated her own upholstery shop from 1977-2008. Her hobbies and loves included crafts, painting with canvas, plaques and rocks, fishing with her very close friend Camille Block and cheering for Illini Basketball. She was a member of the Womens Auxiliary American Legion Post 210 and the Danville Boat Club. Fran traveled many places with her husband Vic and enjoyed every adventure. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, brother- William, son- Lewis and grandchild- Kelly. A Celebration of Frans Life will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor Joe Humrichous officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 PM. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
