Forrest L. Furman

Forrest L. Furman crossed over on January 22, 2017 to be with his parents, Henry and Bertha Furman. He was born on May 4, 1934. Also preceding him in death are, brothers; Charles, Wallace, Wilbur and Alfred, sister; Mildred, two sister-in-laws, Juanita and May and a granddaughter, Alicia. Leaving behind his wife, Patricia, daughters; Evelyn (David) Schwartz, Marla (Allan) Mackiewicz and Dawn Chezem, seven grand-children, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Forrest graduated from Hegins Township High School, Hegins, Pennsylvania in 1954. He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959. He was a long-time recycler and enjoyed sending in sweepstakes and listening to bluegrass music. Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville, Il on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 -11:00 am prior to the service. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park with military rites by Danville American Legion Post #210.
