Perrysville, Ind. - Forrest A. Wooster, 91, of Perrysville, passed away at 7:25 p.m. CDT Monday, June 25, 2012 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. He was born April 18, 1921 in Gessie, Indiana, the son of the late Clarence and Anna Christie Wooster. He married Ethel Belle Crisp on May 25, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She preceded him in death on November 6, 2002. Survivors include two sons, Terry(Vera)Wooster and Tony Wooster both of Perrysville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Tara(Wes)Pendleton of Lafayette, Indiana; Travis(Cari)Wooster of Covington, Indiana and Keir Wooster of Perrysville, Indiana; five great-grandchildren and one half sister, Sarah(Eugene)Cole of Bloomington, Indiana. Forrest was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ruth M. Wooster and one sister, Florence Richardson. Forrest owned and operated the Wooster Feed Mill in Perrysville, Indiana for the past 65 years. He was a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the United States Army. Forrest was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton, Illinois and the Perrysville American Legion Post #350. He was a 1939 graduate of Perrysville High School. Forrest enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EDT Friday, June 29, 2012 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Joe Humrichous and Curtis Darling; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana with military graveside rites by the Perrysville American Legion Post #350. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
