Floyd Johnson

Danville - Floyd Johnson, 91, of Danville passed away on Sunday October 23, 2016 at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. He was born September 16, 1925 in Danville, the son of Carl and Ivy Fugate Johnson. He was united in marriage to Ruth Johnson on November 13, 1947, she survives. He will be missed by: sons, Patrick (Connie) and Gary Johnson; daughter, Mary (Larry) Delattre; grandchildren, Justin (Tonya) Johnson, Jeremy (Tricia) Johnson, Steven Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Alex Hull, Tyler (Katrina) Hull and Paige Hull; 16 great grandchildren. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Johnson; daughter, Rebecca Hull; grandchildren, Lori Johnson and Angel Hull. Floyd was a proud member of the Navy. He was a member of Danville First Nazarene Church. He worked at the VA Hospital in Danville for 37 Years as a Labor. A celebration of Floyd's life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday October 27, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion St. in Danville. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Ken Pavlick. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00am on Thursday October 27, 2016 Prior to the service.
