Florence Helen Tassell

Champaign - Florence Helen Tassell, 80, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. She was born on March 19, 1936 in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Bert & Ruth (Hustead) Klock. Florence is survived by her daughter Isabelle Conner; son Norman (Pauline Mcintire) Conner; grandson Michael Burns; great-grandson Dominic Burns; and brothers Daniel & Bob Klock. She is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers & sisters. Florence lived a full life. She was an avid gardener and loved raising her chickens. Memorial service will take place on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 3pm at New Horizon United Methodist Church with memorial visitation one hour prior from 2-3pm at the church. Interment will be private.
