Florence Clarice Tintorri

Florence Clarice Tintorri, 93, of Georgetown was called to the Lord at 2:02pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. She was born in Nimmons, Arkansas, on October 18, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Willa {Lewis} Rundel, both deceased. She was united in marriage to James Tintorri on March 15, 1952, in Paris, IL, until his passing on July 12, 2010. Clarice is survived by: her daughter, Janine (James) Kohl of Bismarck, her sons, Darryl (Michelle) Tintorri of Pompano Beach, FL, & James (Sara) Switzer of Danville; her seven grandchildren, Michael Eugene Adams, Blake Tintorri, Spencer Tintorri, Truli Gillepsie, Duane Duprey, J.R. Switzer, & Tamara Switzer. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa. Clarice worked at the Post Office in Georgetown and many years in the Georgetown School District as the Librarian. She enjoyed going camping with her children, cooking, and flower gardening. She also enjoyed going to Peoria & Las Vegas with her daughter. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Clarice's life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor Matt Filicsky officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Friday, April 1, 2016, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Harbor Light Hospice.
